Fraction +5mm contained ~6% <strong>of</strong> Fe, which means that magnetic separation was<br />
not efficient enough <strong>for</strong> this size <strong>of</strong> particles.<br />
XRF spectrometry was used <strong>for</strong> direct analysis <strong>of</strong> granulated PCBs samples.<br />
Characteristic parts like contacts, solders and composites were analysed. XRF analysis<br />
was per<strong>for</strong>med on Skyray EDX 3000. Measurement spots labeled lom-1 to 4 are<br />
presented at Figure 2 and results in Table 4.<br />
