Insulation <strong>of</strong> higher thickness shall be made up in multiple layersusing these mattress/slabs. If required, the mattress/slabs in increment<strong>of</strong> 5mm thickness may be used to achieve the required thickness <strong>of</strong>insulation.iv) Special fire protection measures shall be taken <strong>for</strong> the steam linesrunning in the immediate vicinity <strong>of</strong> oil lines. The sheet metaljacketing shall be made oil pro<strong>of</strong> by inserting self-adhesive flexibletapes.v) Rock wool insulation mattress shall be <strong>of</strong> long fibered rock processedinto fibrous <strong>for</strong>m bonded with a binder. No kind <strong>of</strong> slag woolinclusion is acceptable.182
