TheCage or Tether Management System (TMS)supplies an additional 85hp and is capable ofpowering skids and also has Thruster control andAuto Heading. The Magnum ® ROV evolved fromyears of experience in deepwater work classROV operations. The ROV delivers performancein water depths to 10,000 fsw and also in severeweather conditions.Fiber optics are used as the primarytransmission link for all video and data signalsbetween the vehicle and the surface controlconsole.
