DONVALE kicked seven unanswered goals in the second term to open
EAST BURWOOD never gave Wantirna South a sniff as a “Ram-raid”
was conducted on the Devils’ defence all afternoon.
EAST RINGWOOD struggled against Vermont as the Eagles kicked
thirteen goals to two by half time. The second half was a similar story
for the ‘Roos.
the Bulls drew away from the Falcons in the second half.
MITCHAM kicked on after half time, scoring eight goals to three to
see off Blackburn.
NOBLE PARK were inaccurate in the first half, but showed their true
East Ringwood side.
DIVISION TWO
BORONIA couldn’t get into the contest against Scoresby. Two goals
two was the Hawks’ best haul for a quarter.
DONCASTER was too strong for North Ringwood at Shark Park and
emphasized the point in the last half with eight goals to four.
KNOX allowed Norwood to kick clear in the second term and the
Falcons couldn’t reduce the margin over the course of the afternoon.
MONTROSE were 28 points behind Ringwood at quarter time and the
Demons were unable to close the gap, with the final margin being
extended to 45 points by game’s end.
MULGRAVE were blitzed in the first three quarters by Rowville, as
the Lions were never given a sniff.
NORTH RINGWOOD struggled to put scores on the board against
Doncaster as the Saints managed just four goals to three quarter time.
NORWOOD set up their comfortable victory over Knox with a
blistering seven goal second quarter.
Hawks.
a top two clash.
HEATHMONT were unable to close in on Nunawading after half
time, with the Lions kicking clear in the last quarter.
MOOROOLBARK were just seven points behind Bayswater at the
end of last week’s contest. The telling point is that the Mustangs kicked
9-15 to Bayswater’s 12-4.
NUNAWADING were able to kick seven goals to Heathmont’s three
in the last quarter to keep the Lions in with a shot of finals action with
six rounds to go.
SOUTH CROYDON were one point ahead of Upper Ferntree Gully at
three quarter time, but the visitors were able to defeat the Bulldogs and
to two third quarter by the Panthers being the decisive half-hour.
UPPER FERNTREE GULLY now sit in fourth spot after narrowly
defeating South Croydon in a tight contest with a four goal to one final
term.
WARRANDYTE couldn’t prevent Coldstream from kicking ten final
deserved.
Round 13 Tips (41/60) - Nunawading, Mooroolbark, Doncaster East,
South Croydon, Upper Ferntree Gully.
DIVISION FOUR
Waverley Blues to secure a ten goal win.
defeating The Basin by four points in a close affair.
FERNTREE GULLY made it three games on the trot after their
second half performance was the catalyst for a six point win.
FOREST HILL lost ground on the Whitehorse Pioneers in the first
half, but the Zebras made inroads on a 30 point last change deficit,
falling just two goals short in the end.
GLEN WAVERLEY HAWKS were swamped by Surrey Park after half
time, not aided by some inaccurate kicking which affected their cause.
KILSYTH lost to Ferntree Gully by six points, primarily due to
posting a score of 6-18.
SURREY PARK turned it on after half time as they kicked eleven
goals to two to post their first away win for the season.
THE BASIN was unable to defeat the Eastern Lions and slip to third
spot as a consequence.
challenge of Chirnside Park and remain undefeated.
WHITEHORSE PIONEERS move into second place after kicking
clear of Forest Hill in the second quarter.
