Ten finalists were chosen, including Ms.Stammers, an English teacher here at Patrick Henry. <strong>We</strong>are honored to have Ms. Stammers here at Patrick Henry.Three Patriots Lead Farview to City SoccerChampionship1/3/2007 12:55 PMThe Farview soccer team clinched the<strong>Minneapolis</strong> Parks Soccer League 14udivision in October after defeating Lynnhurst5-2, completing an undefeated regularseason. All but one of the Farview playerscame to the United States in the past two years from theWat Tham Krabok refugee camp in Thailand. <strong>Our</strong>Patrick Henry reps are bolded. Click here toread the interview and see the team photo enlarged.Al Nolen Jr. '07 Signs Scholarship Offer withUniversity of Minnesota1/3/2007 12:50 PMThe Patrick Henrybasketball program celebrated its 14thmember (in the last 8 years) to sign with aDivision I school when Al Nolen Jr. signedwith the U of M Gophers on November 8th.Former Coach Larry McKenzie noted that it is extremelyrare for three members of a high school team to play onthe same team at the Division I level. Next year Al will joinformer Patrick Henry players, Brandon Smith '05 andLawrence McKenzie '03. In the last eight years 36 playersfrom our program have gone on to play basketball incollege or at a university. Al was also recruited byNorthern Iowa, Indiana State, and Oklahoma. Hisbasketball goal for this year is to win another StateChampionship trophy for Patrick Henry. Bryce is thestrongest cross country our school has had inseveral years. The District All ConferenceCross Country team is also the strongest inseveral years, perhaps of all time. Bryce believes his topaccomplishment in Cross Country was running a 17minute 56 second 5K run to finish in first place in theseven team Cambridge-Isanti Cross CountryInvitational. Bryce won over 43 other runners. Just waitwhen you see him run for Track.
