The event begins with a 500-meterswim or 10 laps (1 lap is down and back)followed by an 8-mile bike ride and ends witha 3-mile run. The triathlon is open to malesand females age 13 and older. Trophies willbe awarded to the top three finishers in eachage group and gender.
