Lacrosse is action packed andlots <strong>of</strong> fun! The sport has elements <strong>of</strong> soccer,football, basketball, and hockey. All equipmentwill be provided in this highly instructionalprogram. Experienced coaches will beprovided by Jump Start Sports, but parentsmay assist in the coaching. All players willreceive instruction on the fundamentalsincluding: passing & catching; fielding groundballs; cradling; spacing and positioning; anddefense. Then they will be divided by genderand age to play fun situational scrimmageswhich will help them learn more and enjoy thefast paced action <strong>of</strong> the game. Plastic stickswill be used and no checking, slashing, stickchecking, or poking will be allowed. Nohelmets or shoulder pads will be used. Playersshould wear cleats and a mouth guard.
