Make sure the forklift is level to obtain an accuratefuel level reading.2. Shut off the engine.3. Ground the fuel nozzle against the filler neck to avoidsparks.Fuel TypesUse ASTM #2 diesel fuel with a minimum Cetane rating of40 for better fuel economy and performance under mostoperating conditions.• Use standard #2 diesel fuel for operating attemperatures above 32°F (0°C).• Use a blend of #1 and #2 diesel fuel (“winterized” #2diesel) for operating at temperatures below 32°F (0°C).• Fuels with Cetane ratings higher than 40 may be neededin higher altitude or an extremely low temperatureclimate to prevent misfiring and excessive smoke.Attachment Disclaimer WarningDO NOT exceed the manufacturer’s ratedload for any auxiliary attachment. This rating is stampedon the left edge of the fork just below the fork pivot shaft.The rating is listed in U.S. pounds and based upon a 24inch (610 mm) load center (B).
