Operator CabXR1045Boom ControlThe boom control handle has variable motions from thecenter position that control boom and tilt functions.Figure 6-35. Boom Control Handle Functions.Figure 6-34. Boom Control Handle.The boom control handle is used to raise, lower, extend,retract the boom, and tilt the carriage (or attachment).NOTE: The boom control handle is a variable speedcontrol. Function speed is proportional to handlemovement. The more the handle is moved in theappropriate direction, the faster the correspondingfunction will occur.NOTE: Increasing engine speed can increase boom liftand extend speed.NOTE: Two (2) boom functions can be performed at thesame time by moving the handle into the corner betweentwo (2) functions.
