Using SSH for Secure CommunicationTo configure SSH tunneling between the Ridgeline server and client, you will need to complete thefollowing steps:1 Install PuTTY on the Ridgeline client system2 Configure the PuTTY client3 Install an SSH server on the system with the Ridgeline server4 Configure Microsoft Firewall to allow SSH connects5 Initiate Ridgeline server/client communicationThese steps are described in detail in the following sections.Step 1: Install PuTTY on the Ridgeline ClientPuTTY is a free SSH application that can be downloaded from the following URL:http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.htmlDownload the file putty.exe. This program is not compressed (zipped) and does not require installation.You must download this application to each Ridgeline client for which you want to secure your clientservercommunication.Step 2: Configure the PuTTY Client1 Configure the Session settings:Click on the Session category in the left column tree, as shown in Figure 484.
