Theories and trends concerningchild guidance are introduced to help students understandthe purposes for children’s behavior. Students will gain adevelopmental outlook on children, increase their repertoireof strategies in how they interact with them, exploremethods of planning and setting goals for children, andevaluate their behavior through observation.
