<strong>IOI</strong> BODY BUILDER & NEW TALENT COMPETITIONNEW TALENTS FLEX THEIR MUSCLESOn 26th February 2012, <strong>IOI</strong> Mall <strong>Bandar</strong> <strong>Putra</strong> <strong>Kulai</strong> organized the Junior & New Talent Body BuilderCompetition 2012 . The co-organizers for this event were Persatuan Bina Badan,San Suria & Healthy Path Sdn Bhd . The event was held at the Centre Atrium,Ground Floor of <strong>IOI</strong> Mall ,<strong>Bandar</strong> <strong>Putra</strong>.The Competition is divided into 2 categories –• Junior Body Builder Category for participants aged below21 years old• New Talent Category for new faces and those who hadtaken part in body-building contests but yet to win.Altogether, 16 gyms from various places in Johor took partin this event. They had sent their best talents to competefor the coveted titles. The 16 gyms were Mr Big Gym, BurlyGym, Star Gym, San Suria Gym, Ironville Gym, Sure FitGym, GP Gym, Meteor Gym, Bindu Gym, Hyper Gym, KBSLarkin Gym, Scientex Gym, Excel Gym, Touch Guy Gym, FitGym and Gym Pontian.The ‘Persatuan Bina Badan & Angkat Berat Johor’ hasspecially invited Encik Othman Yahya, who had held thetitle Mr Malaysia, Mr Asia and Mr Universe to performduring the interval session. It was a sensational performanceand the crowd went wild with cheers.The main objective of the event is to discover buddingBody Builders that can represent Malaysia in the future.Meanwhile, holding the event in a crowded Mall will gainpublicity and attract interested youngsters to considertaking up the sport.The winner:Junior category:1st Place Kevin A/L Murthy from San Suria Gym( Cash Prize of RM 700, Trophy and Medal )2nd Place Hamidi B.
