There were indoor and outdoor activities.Indoor activities were held in Palm & <strong>Putra</strong> Room. Outdooractivities were held at the Sports Recreation Area. The activitieswere held to enable employees get to know each other betterand foster good team spirit.MSSJ 2012 Ping Pong Competition<strong>Putra</strong> Sports Complex played host to 200 students from variousschools all over Johor who came for the Johor Ping Pong StatePlayer Selection Competition organized by Majlis Sukan NegeriJohor. The selection camp lasted for 3 days from 17 th to 19 thFebruary 2012. The prize giving ceremony was held on the lastday of the competition.Diamond Classic Chinese New YearGolf Tournament 2012The Annual Diamond Classic Chinese New Year Golf Tournamentwas held on the 11 th February 2012 at Palm & <strong>Putra</strong> Golf Course.This year’s event had received an overwhelming of 102participants. The golfers had a great time playing golf. Theevening ended with a sumptuous dinner during the prizegiving ceremony.Johor Fire Department CharityGolf Competition 2012The Johor Fire Department organized a Charity Golf Tournament onthe 3 rd March 2012, Saturday at <strong>IOI</strong> Palm Villa Golf & CountryResort. The event drew a crowd of 126 people at the Palm & <strong>Putra</strong>Course. The event closed with dinner treats, prize givingceremony and Lucky Draws !Maybank's Kejohanan Golf 5 PenjuruNaungan 3 DivisionMaybank's Kejohanan Golf 5 Penjuru Naungan 3 Division washeld on the 11th March 2012, Sunday at <strong>IOI</strong> Palm Villa Golf &Country Resort. 44 golfers participated in this event, which lastedfor half day. The prize giving ceremony and lucky draws wereheld in the afternoon along with delicious buffet lunch.Maybank Junior Golf AcademyMaybank Junior Golf Academy organized a special junior golfclass on the 16 th to 17 th March 2012. Mr. Steven Hiew from SolidGolf Driving Range gave basic golf lessons to 50 children agedranging from 6-12 years old. These children had never playedgolf before.
