A Message From the ADFran Whitten, III, Athletic DirectorWhat a fantastic winter season! This is such an exciting time of year with almost everyteam participating in post season play. The level of commitment both our athletes andcoaching staff have demonstrated throughout the season has been exemplary. This inconjunction with our fan support is what T-Hawk Pride is all about.Boys’ Hockey finished second in theRoy Conference and is preparing fortournament action. The Wrestlingteam had an outstanding season,placing 8 individuals in the Sectionals,5 State qualifiers, and 3 Stateplacers. Our Ski teams also had anoutstanding season. The Swim teamalso had a great year going undefeatedand winning the league championship.Several swimmers qualifiedfor sectionals and in the process broke numerousschool records. Boys’ and Girls’Track also set several school recordswhile placing individuals in the States and New Englands. Our competitionCheer team also qualified for sectionals this year. Girls’ Basketball won the leaguechampionship andqualified for tournamentfor thetwelfth year in arow continuingtheir rich history ofsuccess. Boys’Basketball alsowon the league andqualified for tournamentas well withthe number oneseed. Gymnasticswon the leaguechampionship andhad two individuals named to the national team.With the winter season now coming to a close it is time to start thinkingabout the spring. Tryouts begin on Monday March 18 th . All candidatesare required to have a current physical exam and permission form in orderto participate. Athletic fees can also be paid on line if that is a preferredoption. Based upon the success of our fall and winter teams this springpromises to be very exciting.
