The entry-level MOT program is six trimesters in length andtakes two years to complete. The entry-level DPT program is offered in two formats: 1) a campus-based,seven trimester program which takes two years and four months to complete, and 2) online and on weekendswe offer a 12-trimester (4 year) Flexible Doctor of Physical Therapy program achieved by combining onlinecourses with weekend labs. There is also a dual degree option whereby a student may complete first theMOT degree and then four trimesters later complete the DPT degree.The Master of Orthopaedic Physician Assistant (MOPA) program currently offered on the St. Augustinecampus is two years in duration that combines one year of classroom/online learning with one year oforthopaedic specific clinical rotations.At the San Marcos, CA campus, the University offers the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) and theDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degrees. These are entry-level degree programs and consist of six to seventrimesters of coursework conducted over two to two and a third years.
