Thesemeetings are for top-level managers who join colleagues to discusstopical issues of vital interest, complemented by social programmes toconsolidate business relationships <strong>and</strong> relax in an informal atmosphere.This is an opportunity for nearly 50 participating countries with over 600attendees to discuss global production <strong>and</strong> consumption trends. Expertsin their respective fields are invited to present topical papers for discussionamong industry leaders.The largest Congress ever. The XXIX World <strong>Nut</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Dried</strong> <strong>Fruit</strong> Congresswelcomed over 860 participants from 49 countries in Beijing (China), 21-23 May <strong>2010</strong>. Congress attendees had 33 working group presentationsto choose from, which ranged in topic from market dynamics <strong>and</strong> newcrop estimates, to scientific research, nutrition <strong>and</strong> regulatory affairs,including the traditional INC working groups on tree nuts <strong>and</strong> scientificround tables, <strong>and</strong> international seminars on peanuts <strong>and</strong> dried fruits.
