Students will have access toa GP, the Curtin accredited pharmacist,Dr Hoti and their Curtin supervisors asallocated by each school.
15healthsciences.curtin.edu.auIt is hoped the students will then beable to ‘refer’ clients to the appropriateservices available in the community (e.g.:Diabetes WA, back to the physiotherapyclinic for musculoskeletal issues).Brownlie Towers is a housing estatein Bentley which has facilities for ourstudents to see the residents similarto the Rowethorpe GP clinic, but as theresidents are a different demographicthe students will get exposure to abroader range of health issues.
