Site Report This application is for the replacement of three temporary classrooms at Haresfield Church of England School with a large extension to the listed, original school building. The existing buildings are located within the playground area, to the north of the original building. The proposed extension would also extend to the north of the property and provide four additional classrooms, associated areas and a multi purpose hall to the north western corner of the site. This proposal would be phased with three overall phases, to accommodate the day to day functions of the school. Relevant Planning History There are several applications relating to the site in question, mainly concerning the provision of temporary classroom accommodation with the most recent application being S.99/1005 for the retention of the Elliott Classroom that was permitted on the 13th July 2000.
