6. Before the development hereby authorised is brought into use the car
parking and manoeuvring facilities shall be completed in all respects in
accordance with the submitted details and shall be similarly maintained
thereafter for that purpose.
Reason:
To enable vehicles to enter and leave the highway in forward gear in the
interests of highway safety and to ensure the development accords with
Policy G5 of the Stroud District Local Plan Revised Deposit Version (as
amended June 2001).
7. The area of land shown for a future footpath alongside Charfield Road,
as shown on the applicants submitted plan No. 2303/10/C, shall be
reserved for that use and be made available, as required, for the
provision of this facility.
Reason:
In the interests of highway safety and to ensure the development accords
with Policy G5 of the Stroud District Local Plan Revised Deposit Version
(as amended June 2001).

1. For the purposes of Article 22 of the Town and Country Planning
(General Development Procedure) (England) (Amendment) Order 2003,
the following reasons for the Council's decision are summarised below
together with a summary of the Policies and Proposals contained within
the Development Plan which are relevant to this decision:
The proposal complies with the provisions of Policies G1, E3, G2 and G5
of the Stroud District Local Plan Revised Deposit Version (as amended
June 2001) which seek to ensure proposals do not adversely affect the
amenities at present enjoyed by occupiers of neighbouring dwellings by
reason of noise and general disturbance. To ensure that the
development is on land allocated for employment purposes. To ensure
that the development does not cause pollution, and to ensure that the
development is not detrimental to highway safety.
Object:
Kingswood PC asked for a condition to be imposed in respect of the provision of a footway in
Charfield Road for pedestrian safety.
Although other units have not had this restriction, it is an intensification of the Mill complex, added
to which traffic movements have increased both in size and volume.
