Toprolong the life of your stroller, keep it cleanand do not leave it in direct sunlightfor extended periods of time.Helpful hintsRegularly clean and inspect your stroller.To ensure trouble free operation lubricatemoving parts and joints with a silicon basedspray. If the wheels squeak use a siliconbased spray or light lubricating oil ensuring itpenetrates the wheel and axle assembly.Regularly clean and lubricate the front swiveland wheel units as dirty or dry units can havean adverse effect on manoeuvrabilityand steering.When using the stroller on the beach, clean itcompletely afterwards to remove all the sandand salt from the mechanisms and wheelassemblies.This stroller is not waterproof and is suppliedwith a rain cover. Under certain climateconditions the covers and trims may beaffected by mould and mildew. To helpprevent this occurring, do not fold or store thisstroller if it is wet or damp and always use therain cover when necessary. Always store in awell ventilated area.Cleaning the coverThe hood, seat covers and trims may becleaned using warm water with householdsoap or mild detergent. Allow it to dry fully,away from direct sunlight.DO NOT dry clean or use bleach or any otheraggressive cleaning agents.To maintain the safety of your stroller, seekprompt repairs for bent, torn or brokenparts. Use only those parts and accessoriesapproved by <strong>Britax</strong>. 1 Assembling your chassis1a 1b 1c 1d1eRelease the storage latch (dia 1a).Hold the handle and lift upwards untilthe chassis is fully extended and clicksinto position (dia 1b).Push the front swivel wheel assemblyfully into the front leg (dia 1c). Checkthe wheel is correctly fitted by trying topull it out. Repeat this process for bothswivel wheels.Push the rear wheel assembly into therear wheel axle (dia 1d). Check thewheel is correctly fitted by trying topull it out. Repeat this process for bothwheels.Adjust the handle to a comfortableheight by simultaneously pressing thebuttons on the inside of the handle –on both sides (dia 1e).Check the chassis is ready for use bypressing down on the handle – thechassis should not collapse.WARNING – Ensure that all lockingdevices are engaged before use.2 Attaching your seat unit and using your stroller(this vehicle is intended for children from 6 months and up to 15kgs) IMPORTANT - A V-Type seat unit must be used with this V-Type chassis2a2b2c2dB2eBAAHANDY HINT - You may find it helpfulto apply the brake when fitting the seatunit.Push down on the brake lever to lockthe brakes A . To release the brake liftbrake lever B (dia 2a).IMPORTANT – Always apply thebrakes when you park the stroller.2fIMPORTANT – Always removeyour child from the seat unit prior toinstallation, removal or change of seatdirection. The seat unit can be installedforward or rearward facing.To install the seat unit, insert theseat locking latches into both chassissockets (dia 2b).2gPush down on the seat until you hear anaudible ‘click’ (dia 2c).WARNING – Check that the seatunit attachment devices are correctlyengaged before use by lifting the seat.2hTo unlock the swivel wheels, push thelock up on each front wheel B . To lockalign wheels to rear of front leg andpush lock down A (dia 2d).2iTo attach the bumper bar (dia 2e),remove the hood (if fitted). Align thebumper bar mouldings with the fixingsthen slide both bumper bar mouldingsonto the seat unit until fully engaged.To remove the bumper bar, remove thehood (if fitted) then slide both bumperbar mouldings off the seat unit fixings.WARNING! DO NOT lift the strollerby the bumper bar or hood. It maydisengage or damage your product.CDD A BDTo fit the hood align with the fixings onthe bumper bar and slide down (dia 2f)until fully engaged.The hood can be fitted without thebumper bar by aligning with the fixingson the seat unit and sliding down untilfully engaged.To open the hood, pull the front ofthe hood forward then push the hoodhinges down on both sides (dia 2g).To remove the hood, slide the hood offthe fixings on the seat unit, or off thefixings on the bumper bar (if fitted).To adjust the backrest, squeeze thebackrest adjuster lever at the top of theseat unit, then raise or lower the seatunit to the desired position(dia 2h).IMPORTANT – Use the harness atall times.IMPORTANT – Do not lift the stroller bythe seat unit.IMPORTANT – Support the back of thepushchair seat unit when adjusting theangle.Unfasten the comfort pad to reveal thefive-point harness. A five-point harnessis provided to restrain your child (dia 2i).To secure the child in the harness, pushbuckle A and Binto buckle housingC until the buckle prongs snap intoposition. Carefully adjust the harness bypulling the slider Duntil the desired fit isachieved in the waist belt, shoulder andcrotch straps.Always adjust the harness whenchanging the seating position of the child.To release the buckle, squeeze the topand bottom prongs A .WARNING – Always use the crotch strapin combination with the waist belt.WARNING – Fasten the harness whennot in use to prevent it becoming trappedwhen folding the stroller.3 Folding your stroller3a3b3c3d3eIMPORTANT – Always removeyour child from the seat unit prior toinstallation, removal, change of seatdirection or folding.HANDY HINT - For a more compactstorage, fold the handle down. Referto (dia 1e) for instruction on operatinghandle adjustment.Stand at the rear of the chassis, pullboth release latches and twist the righthand one in the direction of the arrowmarked on the release latch (dia 3b).Push the handle down allowing thechassis to fold until it moves into thefully folded position. Ensure that thestorage latch is closed (dia 3c).HANDY HINT – The chassis may alsobe folded with the seat unit attached.For a more compact storage removethe swivel wheels by sliding the swivelwheel lock lever towards the middle ofthe stroller then pull the correspondingswivel wheel out (dia 3d).To remove the rear wheels, pushthe locking button and pull thecorresponding rear wheel out (dia 3e).
