14 May 2010MITIE Group PLCMITIE wins Considerate Constructors Scheme awardMITIE’s interiors team are now officially some of the most considerate constructors in the country followingan award win at the 2010 Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards.The team won a Silver Award for their fit-out project at 222/236 Grays Inn Road for their client TelerealTrillium. The Considerate Constructors Scheme is the national initiative aimed at improving the image of theconstruction industry. Construction sites are assessed on a number of factors and awards are onlypresented to the highest scoring developments, proving that MITIE’s interiors team have excellentstandards of consideration towards the environment, their neighbours and their workforce.The award was presented to the team at a ceremony held at Plaisterers’ Hall, London on 28 April 2010.Sean O’Boyle, Managing Director for MITIE’s interiors business commented, “Working as considerateconstructors is a hugely important element of our work so we’re delighted to win this award. Mycongratulations go out to all of the team involved in the project at 222/236 Grays Inn Road.”The project at 222/236 Grays Inn Road involved the fit-out of over 160,000 sq ft of office space to aCategory A standard.
