Also,maintains an on-going D.A.R.E. program within elementary, middle and high school levels.2011-2012 Accomplishments♦ Reviewed Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Standards programs for overall feasibility and efficiency.♦ Increased Block Watches and community awareness as a result <strong>of</strong> significant rise in burglary andincreased focus on Chronic Nuisance Ordinance.2013-2014 Program Goals♦ Develop <strong>the</strong> teams’ capabilities to focus on crime reduction initiatives.♦ Maintain and build upon crime prevention efforts such as Block Watch, <strong>the</strong> apartment managersnetwork, and community awareness.♦ Implement strategies and resources for enforcement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Chronic Nuisance Ordinance.♦ Build a regular volunteer cadre to staff <strong>the</strong> Neighborhood Resource Center and CommunityResource Center.Page 184
