Healthwalks are short, social walks that are ledby Volunteer Walk Leaders. They are designed tohelp people get the most out of walking for theirphysical and mental health; and also provide a greatopportunity to meet new people. They are friendlyand supportive, so are particularly beneficial to thosewho are getting little or no exercise, recovering fromillness, or lacking in confidence. All the walks areclearly graded so you can see how long they are, andif they include any hills. All walks are free and led by trained Volunteer WalkLeaders. We aim to ensure that cafés and toiletsare available on all walks, but sometimes this is notpossible. Walks do not run on public & bank holidaysand may be cancelled in severe weather. If you haveany questions about this, or any other aspects ofHealthwalks please get in touch.
