Of this amount,US$ 44.7 million was received in returnfor technical service sales,US$ 1.8 million from airline linemaintenance sub-contractor fees,US$ 5.5 million from surplus materialssales and US$ 3.3 million fromwarranty services.Turkish Airlines has received the“Authorized Winglet ModificationCenter Certificate” for installing thewinglet modifications manufactured byAviation Partners Boeing forB737-700/800 aircraft. The firstwinglet modification was carried outon SunExpress’ B737-800 aircraftbetween October 7-10, 2002.Cockpit door reinforcementmodifications were carried out.The Airshow systems of A340 aircraftwere renewed.As of June 10, 2002, the portablecomputer power outlets wereintroduced in the Business Class seatsof A340 aircraft.The first revision of the B737-800aircraft APU’s has been achieved.A total of eleven CF6-80A3 enginesbelonging to IranAir and Cyprus TurkishAirlines, three CF6-80C2 enginesbelonging to Onur Air and one CFM56-3C1 engine belonging to Air Anatolia,were overhauled.
