These changes were announced by <strong>OPM</strong> on March 29, 20<strong>13</strong>,and effective in TMGT on April 7, 20<strong>13</strong>. Users can refer to www.opm.gov, GPPA, for moreinformation on <strong>Update</strong> <strong>62</strong>.TMGT Table 052, Remarks Code and Descriptions, is being updated as a result of<strong>Update</strong> <strong>62</strong>.As a result of <strong>Update</strong> <strong>62</strong> to the GPPA, <strong>OPM</strong> has changes to the following chapters:Chapter 6, Creditable Service for Leave AccrualChapter 11, Excepted Service AppointmentsChapter 15, Placement in Nonpay or Nonduty StatusThe attachment, Guide to Processing Personnel Actions, <strong>Update</strong> <strong>62</strong>, Summary of Changes,is a summary of the <strong>OPM</strong> changes that affect the Remarks. This summary does not replacethe GPPA. Agencies should reference <strong>Update</strong> <strong>62</strong> for a detailed review of these changes.EmpowHREmpowHR will be updated to allow the applicable remarks in accordance with this change.Front-End Systems Interface (FESI)FESI users should make the necessary modifications to allow for these remarks.NFCBULLETIN
