This will be provided by thehospital to the beneficiary at the time <strong>of</strong> discharge.e) Pre and post hospitalization costs up to 1 day prior tohospitalization and up to 5 days from the date <strong>of</strong> discharge fromthe hospital shall be part <strong>of</strong> the package rates.f) Maternity and Newborn Child Coverage will be covered as perdetails provided below:1. This means treatment taken in hospital/nursing home arisingfrom childbirth including normal delivery / caesarean sectionand/ or miscarriage or abortion induced by accident or othermedical emergency subject to exclusions given in Annexure 8.2. Newborn child shall be automatically covered from birth uptothe expiry <strong>of</strong> the policy for all the expenses incurred in takingtreatment at the hospital as in-patient. This benefit shall be apart <strong>of</strong> basic sum insured and new born will be considered as a7
