Annexure – 6PROVISIONAL/SUGGESTED LIST FOR MEDICAL AND SURGICALINTERVENTIONS / PROCEDURES IN GENERAL WARD FOR WHICHPACKAGE RATES MAY BE FIXEDThese package rates will include bed charges (General ward), Nursing andboarding charges, Surgeons, Anesthetists, Medical Practitioner, Consultantsfees, Anesthesia, Blood, Oxygen, O.T. Charges, Cost of Surgical Appliances,Medicines and Drugs, Cost of Prosthetic Devices, implants, X-Ray andDiagnostic Tests, Food to patient etc. Expenses incurred for diagnostic testand medicines upto 1 day before the admission of the patient and cost ofdiagnostic test and medicine upto 5 days of the discharge from the hospitalfor the same ailment / surgery including Transport Expenses will also be thepart of package. The package should cover the entire cost of treatment of thepatient from date of reporting (1 day Pre hospitalisation) to his dischargefrom hospital and 5 days after discharge, Transport Expenses and anycomplication while in hospital, making the transaction truly cashless to thepatient.Medical (Non surgical) hospitalisation procedures means Bacterialmeningitis, Bronchitis- Bacterial/Viral, Chicken pox, Dengue fever,Diphtheria, Dysentery, Epilepsy, Filariasis, Food poisoning, Hepatitis,Malaria, Measles, Meningitis, Plague, Pneumonia, Septicemia, Tuberculosis(Extra pulmonary, pulmonary etc), Tetanus, Typhoid, Viral fever, Urinarytract infection, Lower respiratory tract infection and other such proceduresrequiring hospitalisation etc.(i). Charges, Cost of Surgical Appliances, Medicines andDrugs, Cost of Prosthetic Devices, implants, X-Ray andDiagnostic Tests, Food to patient etc. Expenses incurredfor diagnostic test and medicines upto 1 day before theadmission of the patient and cost of diagnostic test andmedicine upto 5 days of the discharge from the hospital forthe same ailment / surgery including Transport Expenseswill also be the part of package.
