At the front is a pair of long tentaclesor feelers <strong>and</strong> a pair of short tentacles, which serveas organs of touch <strong>and</strong> smell. At the end of each longtentacle is a black eye, which enables the snail todistinguish between light <strong>and</strong> darkness.
