If residual air pressure is present with the fan on, follow steps 1 through 5, taking note of the warnings listed.Make sure the exhaust port on the fan clutch solenoid valve is clear and free of obstructions. If the exhaustis clear but the problem persists, replace the fan clutch solenoid valve with one of the two parts listed under“Parts” on page 1. Remember to drain the air from the system before disconnecting any air lines.13. Repeat the test procedure described in steps 9 through 11.14. Once the problem is resolved, drain the air from the air reservoirs and remove the air pressure gauge.Remove the air pressure gauge and reconnect the fan clutch actuator to the solenoid valve air line, routingand clipping the air line with at least one inch of clearance from objects that might move relative to engine orair line when running the engine and cycling the fan clutch.15. <strong>SERVICE</strong> <strong>BULLETIN</strong>SB 4-208-001DECEMBER, 2005Raising the CabRelease the cab latch by lifting the security lock (1) on the leverand then push lever (2) up until the cab latch hook (3) is freefrom its retainer. The cab lock is now in its open position (B).Release the cab latch on the other side of the cab.WARNINGDisengage both cab latches before tiltingthe cab. Raising the cab with only one latchdisengaged can result in vehicle damage.Remove the pump handle from its storage location on either thedriver or passenger side rear cab corner. It is held in place withtwo clips to the cab wall.Place the flow valve selector on the cab tilt pump pointingrearward. The text on the selector handle that reads “RAISE” isnow facing out.Put one end of the pump handle into the pump and operatethe pump in an up and down motion. As hydraulic pressureincreases, the cab tilt cylinders will start to move the cabup. The text on the selector handle that reads “LOWER” isnow facing out. Remove the lock pin from the cab tilt lock tube.Put one end of the pump handle into the pump and operatethe pump in an up and down motion. As hydraulic pressureincreases, the cab tilt cylinders will start to move the cab. Whenthe cab goes over its balance point, it will fall at a controlledspeed until it settles over the rear mounts.Remove the pump handle from the pump and return it to itsstorage location inside the cab.Locking the Cab in PlaceThe hold down latch hook (3) is placed into the retainer and thenlocked down by pulling the latch lever (2) down.
