A carbon offset …is any project or initiative thatindirectly reduces GHG emissions at one source byinvesting in GHG emissions reductions elsewhere –effectively mitigating GHG emissions.Intrepid will ensure offsets purchased are:- cost effective- have accreditation according to a recognisedstandard- offered by an offset provider who isindependently verified- offer co-benefits as well as carbon offsettingwhere possible
