One suchexample is the EU-Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change.This group, which got together at the initiative of several companydirectors, seeks to work in partnership with the EU to stimulate alow-carbon economy while enhancing the prospects for growthand competitiveness. It intends to do this by identifying the conditionsnecessary to meet greenhouse gas emissions reductions,implementing effective emission-reduction measures, and lookingfor business opportunities in low-carbon technologies.077
