6Collector Installation6.2 Mounting the collectorsThe collectors are attached to the horizontal rails usingsingle-sided collector clamps (Fig. 38, [2]) at the twoends of a collector array, and double-sided clamps(Fig. 38, [1]) between two collectors.The clamps hold the collectors in place while thecollector hangers are carrying their weight.112NOTICE2The collector clamps are spread apartusing small plastic pieces that break offwhen tightening the Allen screw.
