5Installing roof hooks and horizontal railsInstalling the roof hook Push the lower part of the hook down until it lies flaton the sheathing (Fig. 16, [1]).NOTICEThe toothed washer (Fig. 16, [2]) mustengage with the teeth on the lower part ofthe roof hook. Tighten the long hex-nut (Fig. 17, [1]). To do this,insert the size 5 Allen wrench into the hole in the hexnutand turn.
