The low-profile <strong>RF</strong>-<strong>3590</strong> is lightweight, yetruggedized to provide reliable operation in extreme operational environments. The <strong>Tablet</strong>’scomputing resources allow for the user to access full motion ISR video at the tactical edge,display situational awareness (SA), access tactical databases, and run training or other secureapplications simultaneously. Optimized to leverage the military’s emerging wideband tacticalradio networks, the <strong>RF</strong>-<strong>3590</strong> enables real-time sharing of mission-critical information across thebattlespace.The 7” sunlight readable display and touch screen supports gloved multi-touch as well as stylusoperation. The <strong>Tablet</strong> also supports multiple embedded radios including 802.11n, Bluetooth4.0, commercial GPS, and wireless cellular. The <strong>Tablet</strong>’s sensor suite includes an accelerometer,inclinometer, digital compass, barometric pressure, temperature, gyroscope and proximity/ambient light sensors, as well as both front and rear facing cameras. <strong>Harris</strong>’ <strong>Tablet</strong> is AndroidHoneycomb (3.2) based with the ability to be upgraded to support future Android releases andemerging applications.<strong>Harris</strong>’ <strong>RF</strong>-<strong>3590</strong> has external system interfaces to enable communication with existing <strong>Harris</strong>radio products, as well as other industry standard commercial hardware. When used with <strong>Harris</strong>tactical radios, the <strong>Tablet</strong> brings <strong>Harris</strong>’ proven tactical networking capability to the edge andin the soldier’s hands to enable real-time sharing of mission critical data and imagery.
