786) DETECTION OF BOGUS CARD :- There are instances of holding morethanOne ration card by a single family. The PRI / GB’s should take initiativeto detect <strong>and</strong> eliminate such ration cards to avoid any duplication <strong>and</strong>misuse of highly subsidize rice.7) After getting the monthly allocation of food grains <strong>and</strong> S.K. Oil, a copy ofthe same should be pasted on the notice board outside the cooperativeor FPS. GB/PRI members can always rely on these <strong>for</strong> quantum of rationallotted in a month <strong>and</strong> the actual quantity that has been received by theco-op or FPS <strong>for</strong> distribution to the mass through PDS.Difference between TPDS (Targeted Public Distribution System), AAY(Antodaya Anna Yojna) <strong>and</strong> Annapuna Yojna.1. Under Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS) introduced w.e.f01/06/97, all BPL families are entitled to get 35 kgs of rice or wheat perfamily per month @ Rs. 6.15 (rice) <strong>and</strong> Rs. 4.65 (wheat) per kg.Whereas, all above Poverty Line are entitled to get 35 kg of rice or wheatper family per month @ Rs. 8.80 (rice) <strong>and</strong> Rs. 6.60 (wheat) per kg2. Antyodaya Anna Yojna was launched w.e.f. 01/01/02 by Govt. of India toextend benefit of 35 kg of rice @ Rs. 3/- per kg per month per family tothe poorest of the Poor BPL families. Under Annapuna Scheme 10 kgsof rice is distributed free of cost to the old Indigent citizens of 65 years ofage <strong>and</strong> above, who are not getting benefit under National Old AgePension Scheme
