555. The ARCS/DRCS should be requested to inspect the probability/prospects of the proposed cooperative. Accordingly they will give theirrecommendations for registration.6. The land area identified for construction of office/ godown should bepurchased/ donated/ acquired on lease. A certificate to that effect shouldalso be enclosed.7. Application for registration along with following documents are to besubmitted to the RCS Naharlagun for registration-• 04 (FOUR) copies of Bye-Law• Two copies of list of promoters and their back ground• List of initial contributors and amounts• A draft plan of the activities showing how the cooperative will beprosperous• Inspection report of ARCS/DRCS• Land certificate.• Bank's certificateThe RCS will register the cooperative and necessary orders and certificate willbe issued.After registration first executive body/ Board of Directors has to be elected bythe share holders within 30 days of registration.ROLE OF GBs and PRIs:-The GBs and PRIs are the actual leaders in the village. They should identifythe priority sectors for cooperative formation on a compact area basisinvolving the villagers as share holders. The concept of SHGs and itsinvolvement in cooperatives is gaining momentum. Various co-ops could beformed in following sectors-1. Medicinal plantations2. Aromatic plantation3. Bamboo plantation4. Small tea estates.5. Fruit processing and marketing6. Fishery7. Goatery etc.8. Piggery9. Dairy10. Sericulture11. marketing of local agril produce.12. Jatropha plantation and processing unit of extracting oil.
