Population base: Women who had a live birth outside of a health facility in the five yearspreceding the survey.2. Time period: Five years preceding the interview.B. Numerators: Number of women with a delivery outside of a health facility, distributed by thenumber of days since delivery at time of first postnatal checkup.C. Denominator: Number of women with a live birth in the last five years, which was not deliveredin a health facility.CalculationFor percent distribution, 100 times the quotient of the numerators divided by the same denominator.H<strong>and</strong>ling of Missing ValuesIncluded in distribution.Notes <strong>and</strong> ConsiderationsWomen whose last birth was delivered in a health facility are excluded from both numerators <strong>and</strong>denominators. They are assumed to have received a postnatal checkup soon after delivery.Percent distribution adds up to 100 percent.The category “Did not received prenatal checkup” is included in the distribution.
