3. While components are soaking, use nylon brushor cloth to sanitize the inside of ice bin. Sanitizeinside of door, door gasket, bin, top of evaporatorand evaporator bucket. Do not rinse sanitizedcomponents.4. Replace all components removed.5. To start a sanitizing cycle, press the CLEANswitch. The Clean light will energize to indicatethe sanitizing cycle has started.6. Wait until the Clean light flashes (3 minutes) thenadd 0.5 oz (15 ml) of Manitowoc sanitizer by liftingthe water shutter and pouring directly into thespray area. The ice machine will automaticallytime out a ten minute cleaning cycle, followed byeight rinse cycles, and stop. The Clean light willturn off to indicate the Cleaning cycle iscompleted. This entire cycle lasts approximately30 minutes.NOTE: The ice machine will automatically continue from theprevious point before the clean cycle was initiated.• If the ice machine was in the ice making cycle, thecontrol board will initiate a 2 minute harvest cycle,perform the clean cycle and start ice making againautomatically.• If the ice machine was in the off cycle, the control boardwill perform a clean cycle and turn off automatically.• If the ice machine was in a delay mode, the control boardwill perform a clean cycle and resume the delay periodautomatically.REMOVAL OF PARTS FOR CLEANING ANDSANITIZING1. Disconnect power to the ice machine at theelectric switch box.2. Turn off the water supply to the ice machine at thewater service valve.!
