NOTE: Manifold gauges must be removed properly toensure that no refrigerant contamination or lossoccurs.8. Make sure that all of the vapor in the charginghoses is drawn into the ice machine beforedisconnecting the charging hoses.A. Run the ice machine in freeze cycle.B. Close the high side service valve at the icemachine.C. Open the low side service valve at the icemachine (when supplied) or disconnect thelow loss fitting from the access valve.D. Open the high and low side valves on themanifold gauge set. Any refrigerant in thelines will be pulled into the low side of thesystem.E. Allow the pressures to equalize while the icemachine is in the freeze cycle.F. Close the low side service valve at the icemachine.9.
