Modified Rules for TOUCH FOOTBALLOur aim is to provide a fun non-threatening environment for all to enjoy. We can’t stress enough that thesegames are to be played in good spirit, so if you are an experienced player please identify yourself to us on thenight. The series is designed for fun, fitness and to meet new friends.RULES Teams will consist of 6 players. There will be a minimum of 3 females on the field at all times. If yourteam does not have 3 females on the field it is deemed a forfeit to your opposition and the game will bedeclared a scratch match. The opposing team will get 3 points and the forfeiting team will get 1 point forparticipating. There will be unlimited interchange, which will be the responsibility of the teams to monitor. If adding players during the series these players MUST sign the declaration on your registration formbefore taking the field. A or B-grade players or players of exceptional ability will not be allowed to score a try. (Players ofexceptional ability will be up to the discretion of the umpire). These players will be identified by wearing acoloured sash.o Only two experienced players per team allowed on the field at any time, regardless of gender.o Only one NT representative players is allowed on the field at one time. Players MUST be over 18yrs of age. A player from each team must sign and accept the scorecard at the completion of each game. The umpire has the right to send players off the field for a maximum of 5 minutes for unsportsmanlikebehaviour or overly rough play. Except where stated, normal rules apply.

FORMAT Games will be 2 x 15-minute halves with a 5-minute break. Games MUST start on time due to our booking times with the stadium. If a team is more that 5 minuteslate, the match will be deemed a forfeit. A scratch match may be organised, but points will be awarded tothe team receiving the original forfeit. Footwear must be worn; normal runners and football boots are acceptable. No buckles, etc allowed onclothing, including belts. If your game is abandoned due to weather the score will at the time of abandonment will stand as gamescannot be re-scheduled. If your game is cancelled both teams will receive average points.SCORING 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw, 1 point for a loss, 0 for a forfeit If your game is abandoned due to weather the score at the time of abandonment will stand as gamescannot be re-scheduled. If your game is cancelled both teams will receive 2 points and their average of goals for the game. 2011 Corporate Cup overall trophy is 8 points for a win, 6 points for runner up, 4 points for making a semifinal and 2 points for participation.FINALS WEEKAfter the five weeks of rounds, the top four teams will make up the Semi-Finals. The winner of each Semi-Final will go into the Grand Final, which will be on the same night (with a break in between for players torehydrate and catch their breath.Everyone else will have a match too! Each team will play the team nearest them on the overall standings.Playing times will not be the same as for the first five rounds, and will be advised as soon as possible.
