In college I received my bachelors in art education and myminor in mathematics, and for the past seven years I have tutored students of all ages in numerousmath subjects. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but in the last year I have finallymade Colorado my permanent home. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family andfriends, working on my artwork, and hiking the Colorado trails. I am very excited to be apart of the PCA community, and I am proud to call myself a PCA warrior!Anais Fremaint – ArtMy name is Ana Fremaint. I was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and moved here to Coloradowith my family when I was eighteen months old. I have a driving passion and love for art,which has been continuously developing since the moment I held a mark-making implementin my hands. Creating something that had never existed in the world, that is mine, and hasrelevancy and purpose is a feeling that brings joy into my heart- and helping students reachthat same kind of experience is what the arts is all about. I grew up within the <strong>Poudre</strong> <strong>School</strong><strong>District</strong> and went on to study art at Colorado State University, later on graduating witha BFA in Arts along with my Art Education Degree. Off-season and in my spare time I dedicatemyself to family and friends, painting, sewing, costume work, special effectsmakeup, reading, and hiking.Lindsey Healy – SpanishHola, I'm Lindsey Healy, the new Spanish teacher. This is my second year teaching, and Iam very excited to be at PCA! I come from a long line of educators in my family and trulylove teaching. I also love spending time with my husband and friends, long walks with myBorder Collie Lucy, and the mountains. And of course, the CU Buffs!

Due to small class sizesand extensive offerings for online classesand independent study, PCA can differentiatefor gifted students’ needs in allcontent areas, as well as creativity, art,and leadership. PCA serves a studentpopulation that is traditionally underidentifiedinG/T.Students are supported by teachers toidentify and explore areas of special talentand interest. The G/T coordinatorand counselors also meet with studentsto individually plan in the four primaryareas of G/T services which are: Post-Secondary Readiness and Career Exploration,Advanced Academic Performanceand Achievement, IndependentLearning and Exploration, and Socialand Emotional Support. G/T studentsmay also explore areas of interest withlunch time groups, after-school opportunitiesfor enrichment, and individualextension projects.PCA teachers have extensive trainingand experience, as well as ongoing professionaldevelopment in differentiatedinstruction. In order to support giftedlearners, teachers supply their classroomswith materials for instructionsuch as, individual GPS units for geographyenrichment, specialized art materialsfor individualization & enrichment inLanguage Arts classes, books for careerexploration and post-secondary planning,and multi-media and photographyfor enrichment during service learning.
