Sarangpur-Sujalpur RoadAnnex-I(Schedule-A)Site for Two Lanning1.0 General1.1 The SiteThe project stretch is considered from km 0/000 (At Shujalpur) to end at km 38/600 (AtSarangpur). SH-41 The project stretch lies between Latitude = 32"; 06’ to 24"; 19'North,Longitude = 75"; 41' and 77"; 02' East. Onway, project stretch traverses Towns - Shujalpur,Ranoganj, Mohamadkheda, Akodia, Mudlai, Salsalai, Godna, Kachikheda, and Sarangpur.For Project Preparation the new designed chainages are considered from km 0/000 (km0/000) to km 38/460 (km 38/600).2.0 Description of Project HighwayAn index map and location plan of the project highway is given Fig1.1.2.1 (a) Referencing SystemAlong the existing road, kilometer stones are fixed in entire length of the project highway. Itis called as “Existing km Chainage”. During topographical survey with Total Station,observations made are referred to “Design Chainage”. The relationship between the“Existing km Chainage and the design Chainage” as per field surveys of existing km stonesusing the total station for the project highway is given Annexure A-1.(b)‘START’ and ‘END’ of the Project HighwayThe project stretch start from km 0/000 (At Shujalpur) and end at km 38/600 (AtSarangpur). The existing and design lengths of the project road are 38.60 km and 38.46 kmrespectively.2.2 Right of WayROW available for the entire road is 20 to 28m except in built up areas. Two lane shall beconstructed within the available existing ROW. The land for curve improvement and otherfacilities shall be assessed by Concessionaire and agreed to by MPRDC. The site shall behanded over to the concessionaire as per concession agreement. Two laning with pavedshoulder in selected stretches in Built-up section on project road shall be carried out inexisting available ROW with minor acquisition. However, Land will be acquired by MPRDCat some places where sufficient ROW is not available to meet the project requirement._______________________________________________________________________MPRDC-Bhopal December, 2010
