TUBMAN LEARNING INSTITUTE TO BE
OFFERED ON OCTOBER 26 IN MANKATO
Tubman Elder Care & Rights Center is offering its
Learning Institute for long-term care staff on Friday,
October 26 th from 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. at Pathstone
Living, 730 Mound Avenue in Mankato. Certificates
of attendance for 2.1 CEUs for each workshop, or a
total of 6.3 CEUs for all three workshops, will be
issued.
Topics for the three workshops include “Dealing with
Ethical Issues in LTC”, “Breaking Cultural Barriers:
Ending Elder Abuse” and “Beyond Behaviors:
Challenges in the Changing World of Health Care”.
Participants may choose to attend any of the three
workshops that are of interest. The cost, which
includes refreshments and all materials, is $60 for all
three workshops, $45 for any two workshops or $25
for one workshop. To register, go to
