Since its introduction in routine clinical practice, hip arthroplasty has seen<br />
a tremendous development, making it one of the most successful surgical<br />
interventions today. The initial aim was to simply replace the joint to<br />
reduce pain. The focus then shifted towards the anatomical reconstruction<br />
of a normal anatomy, thereby restoring a normal function.<br />
We cordially invite you to this symposium, where certain aspects of primary<br />
modern hip arthroplasty will be discussed. We are pleased to announce that<br />
a number of distinguished experts will share their views on the subject.<br />
