It also enables the bodyto get rid of carbon dioxide in the air breathed out. It helps to maintain ourbody temperature and eliminate excess water from the body. Disorders in therespiratory system will give impact to homeostasis. Students need to havea basic understanding and knowledge of structure, function, pathogenesis, diagnosis and management of various malformation, inflammatory, neoplasms, degenerative and traumatic disorders of respiratory system inorder to be a competent GP. The respiratory system is related to the humanlife, from a cell to organism and from infancy to elderly. Students willfind this topic interesting. This system includes ethical concepts, publichealth issue and epidemiological tools.
