Interm of vertical interaction of the programme, this module will address therelevant issues of community health, research programmes and bioethicswhich will be taught according to the theme of the week. Students willcomplete this module in four weeks. This module consists of mini lectures,case-based tutorial, laboratory activities, computer skills, laboratory skills,class discussions, seminars, and extramural activities.The Fundamentals of Biomedical Science III: Pathology in Human Life(S1.3) ModuleThe Fundamentals of Biomedical Sciences III consists of the agents andmechanism of the disease. The agents of the disease can be physical,chemical and microbiological. The issues on the microbiological aspectsare focused in this module. Students examine the interactions of humanbody systems and pathogen which can lead to the disturbance of the body’snormal functions. The mechanism of the disease is based on cellular injury,infection-inflammation, haemodynamic disorders and neoplasm. In term ofvertical interaction of the programme, this module will address the relevantissues of community health, research programmes and bioethics which willbe taught according to the theme of the week. Students will complete thismodule in four weeks.
