Section 132:(1) The Procureur General at the Supreme Court shall be a party to appeals lodged by the partiesand may of his own motion raise grounds for the annulment of the decision appealed <strong>against</strong>.(2) He shall be the principal party in all appeals brought by him before the Supreme Court.SUB-CHAPTER IIFUNCTIONS OF THE PROCUREUR GENERAL AT THE COURT OF APPEALSection 133:(1) The Procureur General at the Court of Appeal shall ensure that the criminal law is appliedthroughout the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal.(2) He shall have authority over all the magistrates of the Legal Department within hisjurisdiction.(3) He shall, in the exercise of his functions, have the right to call directly on the forces of thelaw and order.Section 134:(1) The Procureur General at the Court of Appeal may instruct the magistrates of the LegalDepartment within his jurisdiction to investigate offences of which he has knowledge, to close acase file or to institute proceedings.(2) The Procureur General at the Court of Appeal:(a) Shall supervise the activities of the judicial police officers and agents working within thejurisdiction of the Court. of Appeal;(b) Shall submit half yearly reports to the Minister in charge of Justice on their activities andconduct;(c) May direct them to obtain any information which he deems useful for the properadministration of Justice;
