The nickelplated sensing bulb is attached directly tothe bottom of the case where it is shieldedfrom damage or accumulators of insulatingparticles. The molded Noryl case is sealedat the cover with a neoprene gasket andthe adjusting knob opening is closed witha lubricated 0 ring. UnderwritersLaboratories has tested the T109 and foundit meets the requirement for NEMA 4xenclosures.High levels of accuracy and sensitivity areprovided by the T109. Switching is done byheavy duty, precision, snap action switches.Setting is accomplished by rotating theadjusting knob. The dial face is printedwith large contrasting numbers and letterson a lustrous background for goodvisibility.
