Message Centre2Trailer light fail* - YELLOWThis warning message only functions when atowed vehicle has been electrically connectedto the car’s exterior light circuit using thededicated socket. The warning message will be displayed if abulb failure has been detected on the towed vehicle. The iconis displayed with the message ‘BULB FAILURE’.Low washer fluid level - YELLOWDisplayed when the fluid level in the washerreservoir is low. The icon is displayed with themessage ‘LOW WASHER FLUID’ for 4seconds when it is initially activated, and also at start up andshut down. Top up washer reservoir.Glow plug operation (Diesel only) - YELLOWDisplayed at start up when the starter switch isin the second position until the glow plugtemperature has been reached. The icon isdisplayed with the message ‘GLOW PLUG ON’. Do not startthe engine until the warning message has been extinguished.Fuel cut-off (inertia) switch - YELLOWDisplayed if the inertia switch has tripped. Theicon is displayed with the message ‘INERTIASWITCH’. The car will not start until theinertia switch has been reset (see ‘Fuel System’).Handset (key) battery low - REDDisplayed if the instrument pack detects thatthe handset battery is low. The icon isdisplayed with the message ‘KEY BATTERYLOW’. Replace the handset battery at the earliestopportunity.93
