Message Centre2Low oil pressure - REDThis message is displayed (together with thededicated warning light in the centre cluster ofthe instrument panel) when engine oilpressure is dangerously low and liable to result in enginedamage. The icon is displayed with the message ‘LOW OILPRESSURE’. The message is only displayed when theengine has been running at greater than 400 rev/min for morethan 5 seconds, and is displayed for as long as the conditionexists. Stop the car as soon as safety permits and SWITCHOFF THE ENGINE IMMEDIATELY. Seek qualifiedassistance before driving.Seat belt warning - REDThis message is displayed (together with thededicated warning light in the centre cluster ofthe instrument panel) when the engine isstarted, as a reminder to the driver to ensure that all occupiedseat belts are securely fastened. The icon is displayed with themessage ‘SEAT BELT PLEASE’.Brake pad low - YELLOWThis icon is displayed with the message‘BRAKE PADS LOW’ and alerts the driverthat the brake pads are worn and need to beserviced. The message and large icon are displayed for 4seconds, after which time a small icon is displayed for as longas the condition exists. Have the brake pads checked and/orreplaced.Brake fluid/Electronic brake distribution failure -REDThis message is displayed (together with thededicated warning light in the centre cluster ofthe instrument panel) to alert the driver of abrake system failure. The icon is displayed continuously whilea fault exists, with the message ‘BRAKE FAULT’ appearingfor 4 seconds. Check the brake fluid level (see ‘Maintenance’).If the warning continues to illuminate, seek qualifiedassistance urgently.91
